April 2012 Newsletter
Welcome Back!
Despite the wet start to the summer term, it is lovely to see our pupils ready for learning! In addition to our planned curriculum topics, the summer term will also be very busy with various activities planned to celebrate the Queen’s Golden Jubilee and the Summer Olympics. We welcome and invite parents to come and help us celebrate these events! Further information will be sent to parents shortly. We are organising the following:
1) A Garden Party to celebrate the Golden Jubilee on 1st June
2) An Opening Ceremony on 26th June and an Olympic sports morning 28th June.
Year 6 Residential at Kingswood
Our pupils proudly represented our school at Kingswood and received extensive praise from instructors for their effective thinking and questioning skills as well as their overall behaviour and attitude. It was a wonderful experience shared by pupils and staff.
Thank you to all adults supervising pupils on the trip!

*As a school, we are working hard to embed quality services to provide effective provision for pupils during after school hours. This does, however, take time to implement as correct procedures must be followed before any club, outside of school time, can begin. Thank you, especially to our working parents for being patient and understanding. I am sure that you will agree that “quality care is paramount.”
